Priestess of Wishes

Personality: Outgoing and laid back, Hanako is a very well mannered and happy-to-help kind of girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. It's often very easy to know how she's feeling as she doesn't tend to try to hide her emotions on her face. She dislikes frauds and hypocrites, always believing that one shouldn't make promises they can't keep and ruining another's hope. Hanako treats everybody as the treat her, never purposefully treating anyone badly without a good reason - although, she does become quite ruthless and apathetic when it comes to people that she loses trust in. Due to being extremely loyal to friends and allies to the point to sacrificing herself, she doesn't take kindly to betrayal and lies.
Physical Description:
As a Human: Hanako, to say the least, is known to be very beautiful in their country's (Japan) standards. With her light coloured skin, high bridged nose, long eyelashes hiding soft brown eyes and a slim face, she's a natural beauty as by Kitsune stereotype. She stands at 5'6 with a slim figure, with long curvy legs and a thin waist - and don't forget her long black hair with straight-cut (Hime cut) bangs and fringes. Most of the time she tries to wear what she sees women her age wear when they visit the shrine, but she has a very cluttered, all-over-the-place kind of style that changes every time she sports a new outfit.
As a Kitsune: Hanako has a 'natural' form, along with a 'celestial' form that requires Inari Okami's power to unlock. Normally she has her hair tied back into a loose ponytail and wears the long red hibikami skirt and white top that traditional shrine miko wear. She has white fox ears that she chooses to hide most of the time. When in celestial form though, an ethereal pale green aura surrounds her in the shape of a fox as she dons an hikizuri kimono, a soft pearl white fading to spring green at the bottom of the hakama with twining wisteria branches and flowers as decoration - her obi is tied in the back in the asagao musubi (morning glory knot). She often wears a soft blue haori decorated with sparrows and water lilies on top.
Weapon of choice: She has a pair of bladed tessen (War fans) that she uses most often.
Ability:
Fox Fire Manipulation - her fire is relatively normal. Not entirely destructive or unique like the twins', but it gets the job done. She uses her fox fire as a form of transportation more frequently - she generates a cloud of fox fire to stand on and it levitates upon her will. Sometimes Hanako might also let others control it around the house should they need help moving something heavy or the like.- Nozomi - in comparison to Miyako and Noriko who use their abilities for offensive properties, Hanako does not. Nozomi's power lies in its ability to be used in wish-granting rituals and rarely also the key element to a ritual opening a Kimon (Demon Gate) from where a portal to the demonic world can be opened. This special ability comes from the power imbued into her original name, Nozomi(望), meaning 'wish', 'desire' or 'hope'.
Illusion Manipulation - the ability to conjure up illusions, causing her targets to see, hear and experience things that aren’t actually a part of reality. She's rather decent at it but rarely uses it as frequently as Miyako does. -
The Priestess of Order
Original Name: Wakana
Known Name: Homura Miyako (or in Western format, Miyako Homura)
Current Status: Alive
Age: 24 (Appearance), over 300 (True Age)
Personality: Miyako is a responsible and fair woman of few words who often mediates arguments and conflicts, refusing to take sides and often being the one who keeps the order in the shrine. She dislikes those who cannot follow rules and often acts as the motherly figure to the younger workers. Much like her elder sister Noriko she's very strong minded and isn't afraid to speak her mind, although she tends to be much more gentler and toned down in comparison as Nori is very straight to the point and insensitive to the truth, whereas Miyako attempts to encourage and scold others to teach them their lessons. She's very sweet and level headed, always ready to listen despite her hectic schedule.
Physical Description:
As a Human: Miyako stands at 5'5 with wavy, shoulder length blonde hair and almond shaped blue eyes - she has a fascination with looking like a Westerner, as she thinks their appearance is interesting. She has the same facial features as Noriko, save her her eyes which may make locals think she's a foreigner at times - Miyako has a round, cherubic face with a button nose and rose coloured lips. She has a very thin and frail looking body, although she's honestly very far from it. Most of the time her wardrobe's main colour palate is blue with pastel colours. She dresses similarly to Noriko, with loose fitting clothing that is easy to move around in.
As a Kitsune: Much like the rest of her sisters, Miyako has a 'natural' and 'celestial' form. In her natural form, she is nearly the exact replica for Noriko - although she wears her hair in a single braid going down her back, she wears the standard issue hibikami skirt and white top that most miko wear. Her ears and tail are both the same shade as her hair, yet oddly for some reason she only has seven tails in comparison to Noriko, as they are twins and were most likely to have grown their tails together. In her celestial form she has a soft blue aura in the same of a fox's silhouette and dons a westernized version of a yukata, its base colour being white with light blue designs and lace trim. She wears a baby blue hetoe obi (one layer) obi with a thin blue sash tying it together.
Weapon of choice: She has a katana with a pure black hilt and no guard. Its sheath is the same colour and is decorated with pink cherry blossom petals.
Ability:
Fox Fire Manipulation - Miyako's fire, unlike her twin counterpart, harms all who touches it, even herself. It's a double edged blade that requires extensive control and good aim - she often prefers to expel fire from her tails as they are more resistant to the fire than her hands. Most of the time she prefers to stay on the defensive side as her illusionary abilities are less of a risk.- Wakana - her fox fire, in addition to burning anything that touches it, can also isolate and create an area where all other supernatural abilities are negated. Much like her fire it's a double edged blade, but it evens out the chances on the battlefield. This special ability comes from the power imbued into her original name, Wakana (和奏), combining the characters 'harmony' and 'complete'.

Miyako is known to be the most proficient in this, often able to cast illusions or charms that induce illusions for a longer and more effective period of time. -
Priestess of Verity
Original Name: Sakuya
Known Name: Homura Noriko (or in Western format, Noriko Homura)
Current Status: Alive
Age: 24 (Age appearance), over 300 (True Age)
Personality: Noriko is an ambitious and assertive girl who speaks her mind without any hesitation. She forgives but never forgets, always having a tolerant attitude and remaining polite as she'd always been taught - most of the time though she's very much a loner as she doesn't want to bother anyone else who is doing their duties. Due to this Nori tends to flail around and have trouble with social situations - mainly with people who aren't her sisters or one of the shrine's servants.
Physical Description:
As a Human: Nori has long light brown hair and matching eyes - basically, several shades toned down from her original appearance so as not to stick out like a sore thumb amongst others when she travels. Unlike the typical Kitsune who are rumored to often take shape of beautiful people, Nori by human standards is actually average - she has a round youthful face that still holds a bit of baby fat and a symmetrical face with a small nose, pale rose lips and monolid eyes. She is of an average adult Japanese woman’s height of 5ft and 3 inches, along with a small waist, curvy hips and a moderately large bust.
As a Kitsune: Nori has two forms as a Kitsune - her ‘natural’ form and her ‘celestial’ form, the difference between is that the latter requires activation from a higher power, that power belonging to her current master Inari (the God of Foxes, amongst other things).
In her natural form she has golden hair and even brighter yellow eyes, with a pair of white tipped fox ears the same hue as her hair atop the crown of her head that she is capable of hiding. Half of her hair is normally braided back in an updo in order to keep it out of her face as she works. When at the shrine she wears a long, flowing red skirt called a hibakami along with a white top. She occasionally wears a thin white haori with flower patterns dotting the hem when she practices leisurely activities.
In her celestial form, she usually maintains the same appearance, the only difference being the golden glowing aura in the shape of a fox hovering behind her. She wears a crimson kimono, decorated with golden amaryllis flowers. The obi (belt) is a multicolored flower printed fabric with its base shade as gold tied into a rose style knot (bara musubi). Most of the time her nine tails are out and about - although how she gets them through the kimono is a secret she never plans to reveal - and she wears a pair of okobo sandals, which are basically platform sandals.
Weapon of choice:She has a naginata named Amenonuhoko styled after the one in mythology, but is adept with any other types of polearms.
Ability:
Fox Fire Manipulation - much like many other Kitsunes, Noriko has the ability to conjure and manipulate fox fire in order to fight or heal a target. Although her fire has rather unique properties - it harms only those with corrupted hearts, other creatures or humans alike, and will be virtually useless to those with no malintentions, normally only being able to heal them. When it comes to attacking an offensive target the fire is capable of burning nearly everything in its path. Her fire is ideal for exorcisms and repelling barriers, and she normally expels them from the tips of her tails or her hands. Extremely useful as a form of lie detecting as well.- Sakuya - if it is a neutral target she cannot harm, she has the ability to improve its efficiency (hence speeding up the healing process or something similar) and can over-stimulate its targets if she wanted. Most of the time she tends to use this ability for healing others and tending to the shrine's gardens. This special ability comes from the power imbued into her name, Sakuya (咲弥), meaning 'Blossoming increasingly'.
Illusion Manipulation - has the ability to conjure up illusions, causing her targets to see, hear and experience things that aren’t actually a part of reality. Her ability in this field is mediocre compared to the rest of her brethren, but it works enough that she can fool humans on the battlefield. -
Priestess of Foresight
Original Name: Mayu
Known Name: Homura Yuuko (or in Western format, Yuuko Homura)
Current Status: Alive
Age: 15 (Appearance), Around 100 (True Age)
Personality: Childish and mischievous, Yuuko was raised in a very sheltered household and tends to have a very naive outlook on life - good trumps evil, being able to achieve anything through hard work and the like. She tends to be a bit oblivious to deception and lacks the ability to sense other people's ulterior motives, so due to her overly friendly and innocent nature she's an easy target to exploit and be taken advantage of. Her sisters raised her in a controlled environment and she loves them to death for raising her, but since becoming a young teenager she's become mischievous and had been recently introduced into practical jokes and pranks. Yuuko isn't a big fan of being teased or bullied as she tends to be a bit of a crybaby, but when needed she has a resolution made of steel. Not surprisingly, she's also a very big fan of cliche romantic gestures and gets a bit bashful when flirted with.
Physical Description:
As a Human: Yuuko is to say the least, the most modern of the sisters. She's got a very cute and trendy style that allows her to blend in with the rest of society. She has bobbed black hair and doll-like sparkling brown eyes with long lashes. She has pale skin and is very slim, not looking particularly athletic and is physically very weak. She's very small and dainty but is almost always seen with a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
As a Kitsune: Yuuko has a 'natural' form, along with a 'celestial' form that requires Inari Okami's power to unlock. Much like her human form she has bobbed black hair with a crimson bow clipped on, either in long red hibikami skirt and white top or casual clothing, as she is the only one of the Inari Priestesses that goes out into public with a human identity and goes to school. Sometimes when within the shrine she allows her black fox ears to appear - she's also the only one among the sisters that only has one tail. When in celestial form, a soft red aura surrounds her in the shape of a fox as she dons an outlandish, green and black halter top kimono with detachable bell shaped sleeves and skirt reaching just above her knee - her black obi is tied in the back in the chouchou musubi (butterfly knot). She wears pale green knee socks and calf high black boots to match.
Weapon of choice: She has a bamboo Yumi Hankyu, which is generally the shorter version of a Japanese bow.
Ability:
Fox Fire Manipulation - Much like Hanako, her fox fire is relatively normal, if not the weakest and untamed out of the four of them. She's a bit inexperienced with it but she uses it mainly for divination and fortune telling - otherwise, she doesn't utilize it as a weapon.- Mayu - much like Hanako, her special ability does not aid in combat. For when her fire physically touches another, she is able to manipulate memories - capable of destroying them or creating new ones with much effort. Her ability isn't well developed just yet so its often only used for those with troubled pasts or those who wish to move on from a traumatic experience in order to start anew. This special ability comes from the power imbued into her original name, Mayu(真優), meaning 'true gentleness'.
Illusion Manipulation - the ability to conjure up illusions, causing her targets to see, hear and experience things that aren’t actually a part of reality. She's second to Miyako in skill but prefers using it in more harmless, mischievous ways like pranks.
